This interactive program gives kids the chance to touch, observe, and experience reptiles up close, turning science into something they’ll never forget! Great for ages 3 and up! Are you a fan of board games? Settlers of Catan? Come by the library on Friday afternoons and join us for a game! We’ll have a selection of tabletop and board games from the library available to play, but feel free to bring your own if you have a favorite in mind.

Recommend for ages 8 through adult, but children as young as 5 are welcome if accompanied by an adult or older sibling.   If you love origami or are a beginner you are invited to learn the art of origami with Michael LaFosse. Author and artist Michael LaFosse is one of the most seasoned and respected presenters of the paper arts.

How big of a bubble can you create?  Wading pools of bubble solution and bubble wands will be available to play with on the library lawn.   Be prepared to get soapy. Don’t have a green thumb? No worries! Come learn how to needle felt your own succulent that will never die! Ages 12 and up, registration required. Three strike rule: If you register for a program and don't attend the program without cancelling your registration three times, you will be barred from registering for programs for six months.

For  kids ages 6 -12 and their caregiver.   Each participant will learn a kid friendly eco-printing technique  with fresh summer flowers and a craft hammer to make a cover for a journal.   Due to the workshop involving hammers, it is recommended to bring headphones for anyone who is noise sensitive.

Come test your knowledge at GPL Trivia Nights!Registration is required; teams should consist of 1-6 people. ONE member from each team will need to register and provide contact information, including the number of people on the team. Come prepared with a team name - the winning team each month will have their name displayed in the main lobby on the Bragging Rights Trophy until the next winning team is crowned the following month.
