Let's read, sing, rhyme and move together, and lay a foundation for reading and learning! We plan for ages 0-5; older children are also welcome. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Please reserve spots for each child and adult attending . Drop-ins welcome as space allows! Sensory Support Kits are available for in-library use for children experiencing anxiety or feeling overwhelmed in a public space.

Your lightsaber training begins here, Padawans. Train with the Knights of the Tempest and learn fight choreography worthy of the big screen. Then take home your own lightsaber to keep practicing. Get ready to gather around the (pretend) campfire for a cozy and creative teen program! Join us for an afternoon of classic camp-inspired fun as we make our own tasty s’mores and create personalized trail mix snacks. Then, tap into your crafty side with hands-on paracord projects you can wear or take home. Plus test your knowledge of poisonous plants. It’s the perfect mix of food, friends, and outdoor vibes—no bug spray required! Snacks will be provided.  This event is for teens aged 12 - 18.

Kids ages 0–12 and their parents or caregivers can explore stories through hands-on activities, creative play, and storytelling-inspired fun.  Please register all children attending. You're invited to Tea at 2:00pm every first Wednesday of the month! Chat with your neighbor over a cup of tea and enjoy a low-key activity. Davies Library will provide the space, tea and some materials and you just bring the conversation. Some of the materials that might be provided are playing cards, puzzles and adult coloring.
