Come and learn the basic knit stitch, or, if you have mastered the knit stitch, come and learn to purl. Small looms and limited amounts of yarn will be available for use, but if you have your own round or long looms, please bring them. If you have a specific yarn you would like to use, I suggest a bulky or chunky yarn or 2 coordinating skeins of worsted weight yarn.

On December 15, 1967 a bridge collapsed on the boarder of Ohio and West Virginia. Before the collapse, many reported sightings of a large moth-like creature known as mothman. Join us as we try to build a bridge that could stand up against mothman, and also make some fun mothman crafts.

Create your own Ray Harryhausen inspired monster stop motion animation in this two-part “Mimic the Masters: Teen Art Club” session. (Note: Once you register for the first session, you will automatically be registered for the second session.) - Session 1: Monday, July 20. Sculpt your own monster creations and create scenery. - Session 2: Wednesday, July 22: Film and make a stop motion animation like Harryhausen. Technology prerequisite: participants must have their own smart phone or tablet for session 2. The free app “Stop Motion Studio” will be downloaded to the device.

If you love old-time radio and television, and have fond memories of two incredibly talented comedians, George Burns and Gracie Allen, then you will certainly enjoy this 50-minute presentation that I perform with my hubby, Jon Leslie Lynn. In the style of an old-time radio show, Jon and I, dressed in costume, share some of our favorite vignettes of George and Gracie spanning the 1940’s and 1950’s. We hope it tickles your funny bone as much as it does ours.
