We meet the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month in the Conference Room in the lower level (basement) of the Flossmoor Library from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Don't worry if you might be late or need to leave early. Attendance is only taken so the Library knows how many people enjoy our group. Our group includes people who knit, crochet, quilt and do embroidery and we love to share our projects with people of all skill levels. Bring your materials and we can help you learn.

Let's get healthy together! Join us every other Friday morning at 10:00 AM for a relaxed, no-pressure walk hosted by the Flossmoor Library.
Meet us at Flossmoor Road entrance of the park (4312 Flossmoor Rd, Country Club Hills) to get started — then walk as far as you like, at whatever pace feels good for you. When you're ready, just head home. There's no set distance, no group finish, and no pressure to keep up. This walk is entirely yours! All fitness levels are welcome. Come as you are and move the way that works for you. Join us for as many or as few sessions as you like. Remember to bring water and wear comfortable shoes. Terrain is paved and flat.
Registration is not required, but helps if we have to cancel due to weather.
Flossmoor Library program coordinator will meet you are the entrance to record your participation. If you attend 2 or more sessions you are eligible for a prize but you must check in prior to walk (10am).

Join us for a gentle yoga class that will focus on stretching, meditation, relaxation and breathing. Benefits can include anxiety reduction, increased flexibility, and improved body awareness. Leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Classes are open to ages 18+ and beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend. This class is designed for participants to sit on mats on the floor –attendees must be able to get up and down from the mat without assistance. Please bring your own mat, yoga block and yoga strap if possible. We will have a limited supply of mats, straps, blocks and blankets available. Attendees participate at their own risk.
PLEASE NOTE: This class starts promptly at the time indicated. Please arrive earlier then the class start time so you have time to set up your mat and sign waivers without disrupting the designated start time of the class. The elevator doors will be closed promptly at the designated start time and late arrivals will not be allowed to enter the program. This program will be open to the first 25 adult (18+) participants who arrive prior to the designated start time of the class.
