Way Seeking: Way Finding, with JC Hotchkiss
Source
1095 Main St, Williamstown, MA, 01267, US
Mindful inquiry, as suggested by the Buddha, offers a path of calm and steady practice. It’s a process of opening to things as they naturally present themselves by learning to be attentive to everything we meet. It values all questions (more than any answer) for their capacity to keep us alive to life’s unfolding. It is a way of patient curiosity and acceptance.
Chuck Hotchkiss, a teacher of Zen - and a life-long student - will reflect on his own walking upon this path, and suggest how you might do that, too. This introductory talk will be followed by an ongoing series of practice gatherings at Milne Public Library, offering weekly meditation, instruction, support, and encouragement, as well as the potential for an evolving community of friends-on-the-path.
Please attend this talk to learn more about Chuck's approach to meditation and to discuss possible dates times for his future meditation sessions.

Step back in time into the world of ‘Abigail Adams – Liberty and Legacy’.
Blending live performance, immersive multimedia, and original music and visual design, Liberty and Legacy, performed by Sheryl Faye, reintroduces Abigail Adams not simply as a founder’s wife, but as a fearless political thinker, advocate for women’s rights, and moral compass during the American Revolution and the birth of a nation.
Through Adams’ own letters and writings—paired with contemporary staging and technology—the show invites audiences to experience her enduring relevance in conversations about liberty, equality, leadership, and civic responsibility.
All are welcome to enjoy this live performance!
