Start your summer morning with movement and mindfulness! Kids ages 5–12 are invited to join Ms. Kelly for a fun and relaxing yoga session at the library. Participants will stretch, breathe, and build strength through playful poses and calming activities—perfect for all experience levels. Children under 8 years old will need an adult on the library property. Participants should bring their own yoga mat or towel.

Potter Park Zoo will visit the library to present Wild Tales. Lions, Tigers and Bears: Lions, tigers, bears, oh my! In this lesson we will learn and read stories about what makes these animals excellent predators and how they play an important role in the ecosystem. No live animals. Children under 8yrs must be accompanied by an adult. Please register every adult & child attending. This program will take place at the DeWitt Community Room at DeWitt City Hall.

This interactive, beginner-friendly drum circle invites adults and teens to come together and experience the joy of rhythm, music, and connection in a warm and welcoming space. Michele will provide percussion instruments for up to 20 participants, or you can bring your own small drum or shaker if you have one. Together we'll build community, reduce stress, and lift spirits through a fun and joyful drumming session. No experience is needed to attend. Teens 16 and under are welcome to participate with a parent or guardian. Michele Leonard is a local musician and community drum circle facilitator. She leads the Great Lansing Area Drummers weekly drum circle, now in its sixth year.
