Short-term rehab can feel confusing and fast-moving—this program helps you understand what really happens and how to be prepared once you or your loved one are there. This program provides a practical, non-clinical overview of short-term rehabilitation in nursing homes, focusing on what the experience is like and how to navigate it once a stay begins.

Kids entering Kindergarten through third Grade are invited to sign up for this 30 minute Mindful Movement class. We will practice yoga poses, wiggle, stretch, breathe and relax! This class is meant to be a fun and lighthearted experience in movement and mindfulness.

Fabric stashes and remnants from past projects are an important component of all sewers creativity . .. they are the "paint" we use to create. The theme for the July Sew Hip meeting will be "Stash-Busting Projects and Ideas". Included in the meeting will be a discussion on how to organize fabric stashes and remnants and how to mix and use fabric creatively to make small items and accessories.

Come try your hand at Diamond Art and make a patriotic star fridge magnet.  Diamond art is a combination of cross-stitch and paint-by-numbers. Using an applicator participants apply sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded "canvas".

Chair yoga provides a sense of support and structure for the body so the participant can look to the breath to carry them through the shapes of the practice with less stress. We start by finding the alignment of the spine, followed by creating a flow of breath and a sense of calm, and begin to move from a place of groundedness into the shapes of the practice within the limitations of the body.
