We’ll wrap up the hour with social time, giving families a chance to chat, play, and browse or check out books together. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR KIDS AGED 7 AND UP! Calling all young paleontologists and builders! Come to the library to assemble your own wooden dinosaur by putting together a 3D puzzle model. Kids will build, create, and take home their prehistoric masterpiece. WHAT TO EXPECT? Participants will assemble their own wooden 3D dino using pre-cut pieces that fit together like a puzzle. Library staff will be available to offer guidance, but builders should be prepared to follow visual instructions, problem-solve, and work independently. Completed dinosaurs can be taken home after the program. WHY 7 AND UP? We want every kid to have a fun and successful building experience! This project involves following visual instructions, working with small pieces, and completing several assembly steps independently. While children develop these skills at different ages, we have found that most builders ages 7 and up are best able to enjoy the activity with minimal frustration.
