Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) Class

SAIL is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance, and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk or falls. The SAIL program was designed with these principals in mind. Each class includes warm-up, stretching, cardio, balance, and strengthening exercise, as well as a cool down.

NO COST MEALS FOR KIDS & TEENS, ALL SUMMER LONG! Who? ALL children and teens (18 and younger). - Parents and Legal Guardians may receive boxes on the child's behalf if they are not present. (Siblings, family friends, neighbors, non-legal guardians, etc, cannot receive a box on the child's behalf if they are not present) - If a child is present with a non-legal guardian, the child may receive the box directly. What? Meal box containing 5 days of breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. When? FRIDAYS, from 11 am to 4 pm | June 5, 12 & 26 | July 10, 17, 24 & 31 | August 7 - The library will be closed for Federal Holidays on Friday, June 19 & July 3. Due to these closures, children will receive 2 boxes on June 12 & 26. Where? Grove Public Library, located at 1140 NEO Loop in Grove (behind the post office) Summer Meals are provided in partnership with the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Meals are provided freely to school-age children and younger, without discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
