It's time to sing and dance with Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse at the Dinosaur Party! In this interactive concert, you'll wave your little arms like a T-Rex, run like a Velociraptor, and bop like a Triceratops while Andyroo sings his dinosaur hits from the Mesozoic Era to the modern day. Join us on Thursday, July 9th at 3:00 pm! AndyRoo and the AndyRooniverse is the children’s music project of producer/singer/songwriter Andrew Karnavas. A featured performer on Radio Disney AM 1590, Andrew has delighted kids of all ages at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, at the PBS Kids show at SXSW, and at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo with Radio Disney on the Kids Country Stage. This is one of our Thursday Summer Fun Kids Events at the Fairbanks Library. It is designed for elementary school-aged children and their families. Tickets are required for this event and all Thursday Summer Fun Kids Events. Tickets are FREE and available at the Fairbanks Library service desk starting at 2:30 pm on the day of the event. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals must be present inside the library to receive a ticket, and everyone attending the program must have a ticket to be admitted. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and adults must remain with their child(ren) during the program. Our Thursday Summer Fun Kids Events are ticketed to ensure the safety of our program attendees and the requirements of our presenters. All Thursday Summer Fun Kids Events will be held at the Houston CyFair Lions Club located across the parking lot from the library. Remember to get your tickets inside the library first! We will start seating attendees at 2:45 pm with the program starting at 3:00 pm. Hope to see you there!! Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment. We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize. Siblings are always welcome. This program is held in our library meeting room. No registration or tickets required.

Join us on Wednesdays at 11:00 am for Toddler Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time is designed for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years old. We meet in the children's area to share books, songs, rhymes, and more! After Story Time, the toy cabinets are opened and the children are invited to stay and play. It's a great way to meet other caregivers and give your toddler a chance to socialize.  Siblings are always welcome.  We meet in the children's area where the picture books and campfire rug are located.  No registration or tickets required.

Do you like snakes and lizards? Come meet some live reptiles up close and learn about their unique features. You will even have a chance to touch them if you want to! Join us on Thursday, July 16th at 3:00 pm for Meet the Animals: Reptiles  with Rebecca Franco from the Cy-Fair ISD Science Resource Center.  The mission of the Charlotte Davis Burns Science Resource Center is to support and enrich the science program in Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. so that their graduates will achieve the goal of scientific literacy.
