Bring your children and enjoy stories, songs, and activities that promote early literacy and healthy development! Geared towards children aged 2-5 years and their caregivers, each Storytime is 30-45 minutes long and will include a hands-on activity and free play. Everyone is welcome here, so please join us! We can't wait to meet you. There is no story time on July 16th.  Space is limited, and tickets are handed out 30 minutes before start time on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Read to a Dog gives kids the chance to read to a non-judgmental listener, one who will accept the story exactly as they read it. For many children, this allows them a rare chance to experience stress free reading. Being able to relax and have fun reading increases motivation to read, which is an essential element in becoming a successful reader. Joy Flour How does Read to a Dog work? Kids come to library during Read to a Dog and select a book to read to a furry friend. All of the dogs and handlers who participate have been certified as therapy dogs by an accredited organization.
