The Cricut Open Lab is a 45-minute learning session on select Fridays with machines available to use. First-time users can learn what the Cricut machine is and how it works. You can also watch these tutorial videos ahead of time to get a better idea of how to use the Cricut machine and Design Space. For those who already have experience using Cricut, they are welcome to register to use a machine independently to cut out their designs. We will have Cricut machines (Explore/Air and Maker), limited supplies, and several designs available for participants.  Individuals or groups up to 3 people can register for the program. Do you need help using a computer? Want to set up an email account? Stop by the Vineland Branch Library for a 30-minute session with our experienced volunteer! They can assist you with basic tech issues, such as: Setting up an email account, composing & sending emails, using email attachments Web searches and basic data entry Learning the basics of Microsoft Word and Excel and web-based productivity software such as Google docs Using the library's pay-for-print and photocopy machines Using social networking services like Facebook Downloading apps on your phone or tablet And much more! You are welcome to bring your own device, such as a laptop, phone or tablet, or you can use one of our computers. Registration required . Participating in the Reading to Children program is a great way for children to develop their imagination and spark a love for books, reading and learning.  Children will enjoy one-on-one or small group interaction with our volunteer. They are also welcome to practice reading to our volunteer. Pre-registration is not required, and children may drop in to hear a story any time during the program. This program is best suited for preschoolers and children in grades K-3 and will be held in the Children's Picture Book area. Baby/Toddler Storytime invites children and their caregivers to wiggle, rhyme, and sing with diverse books, songs, and fingerplays that encourage language, play, and exploration.This program is geared for children 0 to 3 years of age and their parents/caregivers, but all children are welcome. Free, with limited capacity. Seating for storytime is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ready to show off your gaming skills?! Join us on Wednesdays in June & July. Children, teens, and their families are invited to play a selection of games. We'll have board and card games in addition to a ping pong table, foosball table, Nintendo Switch games and more. The games included will be a mix of strategy-based games, educational games, and luck-based games. Library staff will be available to teach game rules, if needed.  Come together to have fun and build community!
