Catalog your summer adventures by making a scrapbook / junk journal! Bring in your own "junk" (restaurant napkins, old magazines, dried flowers, photographs, etc.) and the library will provide a small journal and materials while supplies last.  This program will run June 11 and 25, and July 9 and 23. As they learn about drinking water resources, attendees will purify a contaminated sample of water to drink. Attendees will attempt to create their own filter with supplied materials and test its effectiveness. Attendees will explore water usage in the United States and steps we can take to conserve water. Thanks to Procter & Gamble, for their generous gift of the P&G water filtration packets.  This program is presented by the Hamilton County Conservation District. Suggested ages 8 - 14
