Choose your own book within the monthly subgenre of mystery. Then come share with the group or just come to listen and get some great ideas for your next mystery read! For July - Paranormal Mystery: Mysteries where supernatural or fantasy elements play a major role. For August - Spy thriller: Involves espionage, action, international settings, and political intrigue. For September - Old Favorite: Re-read an old favorite mystery book. For October - Private Investigators: The main character is a professional private investigator who solves crimes for clients. For November - New Mystery: Published from 2024 to 2026. For December - Missing person: Mystery novel that focuses on a missing-person case.

Reading Buddy volunteers work one on one with students to support and strengthen their reading/literacy skills. No registration necessary. For children in grades K-5. Students will practice reading out loud, listen to reading, and receive encouragement to increase literacy confidence and skills. Drop-in sessions are on a first-come first-served basis. Explore the women of the American Revolution, organizers, writers, and soldiers who shaped the fight for independence, from Martha Washington and Abigail Adams to Sybil Ludington and Deborah Sampson. Introducing the Petticoat Patriots of the Revolution, including the "Daughters of Liberty" and future "Lady Presidents" Martha Washington, and Abigail Adams. We will also meet Mrs. Adams' friend Mercy Warren, as well as Esther Reed, a Philadelphia socialite. Then we will marvel over the courageous midnight-riders: Susanna Bolling of VA, Betsy Dowdy of NC, and Sybil Ludington of CT. Lastly, we will explore the soldiers, Deborah Sampson of MA and "Molly Pitcher" of NJ.
