Join us for a fascinating presentation from photographer Irena Miles. Journey to Ukraine In May 2016 when Ukraine felt like a nation caught in a beautiful, restless transition, pulsing with an energy that looked resolutely toward the West. Traveling from the golden domes of Kyiv to the cobblestone elegance of Lviv, one could see a country shedding its Soviet skin in real-time through a movement of "de-communization." To photograph Ukraine during this window of time was to capture a land asserting its own unique identity.
