Visit Manassas City library to vote on your favorite collage entry in three categories: Grades 5 - 8, Grades 9 - 12, Adults. The winner in each group will win a prize! Beginning June 1, pick up basic art supplies while they last. Choose scrapbooking pages to complement your own unique materials. Return your masterpiece by June 30. Entries will be displayed and judged by age group. Vote for the best three from July 1-18. The three collages with the most votes will win a prize! Retrieve your entry until July 31.

This is a beginners tutorial for use of our Fuseworks Craft Kiln and is required before booking an appointment on the kiln for personal projects. Come to Independent Hill to do a story time, craft, and hike! Meet our Master Naturalist under the pavilion outside the library and be ready to enjoy the wonderous outdoors! A certified Master Naturalist and director of a local outdoor preschool will lead children and their parents in a story time hike! We'll be hiking on our Story Trail, so bring some water and be on the look out for wildlife. There will be a small craft to do after select hikes. Please meet our Master Naturalist under the pavilion outside the library. Please arrive ten minutes before the program begins, as they will depart promptly at 10:00. In the event of bad weather, this program will be canceled.
