If you don't have a current problem, you're still welcome! Pull up a chair and chat about all things garden-y with other attendees. If you're bringing a specific question or issue, gathering as much info as you can beforehand will help Master Gardener volunteers best help you. Use the following questions to collect helpful details: How long has the problem existed? Is it getting noticeably worse? Is more than one plant affected? How often is the plant fertilized and at what strength? Have any chemicals been applied near the plant recently? Have the roots been disturbed? Is there bark damage? Source
Clallam Bay Branch Library
Explore how generations of Americans have given meaning to the ideals set out in the Declaration of Independence. On view July 6 – 11. Visit the Forks and Clallam Bay libraries to engage with the Moments That Made US exhibit: Forks Branch Library: June 29 – July 5, during the 4th of July festivities. The library will be closed on July 4-5, but the exhibition will be viewable through the windows. Clallam Bay Branch Library: July 6 – 11, during Clallam Bay Sekiu Fun Days. The library will have special open hours from noon-5pm on Saturday, July 11. About the Exhibit The exhibition looks back across centuries and highlights both challenging and celebratory times from the colonial era to more recent generations. The exhibition explores five themes drawn directly from the Declaration of Independence: Created Equal; Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness; Free and Independent States; Consent of the Governed; and We Mutually Pledge. The featured moments from American history inspire curiosity about the events that shaped the nation. They remind us that our story was never inevitable, we shaped it at every turn. The exhibition was developed through a multi-state collaboration to ensure that Americans throughout the nation would have the opportunity to meaningfully engage in the nation’s 250th anniversary. It adapts the Moments That Made US exhibition created by History Colorado.
