Drumming for Wellness is a hand drumming class that is FUN, healthy, and relaxing. Experienced Percussionist and Music Educator Celine Fitzpatrick makes it especially accessible to ALL. It is interactive and community building, with numerous benefits for both physical and emotional well-being. Novice drummers receive benefits immediately. Studies show those who participate in hand drumming groups experience the following health benefits: • Reduces stress, tension and anxiety • Lowers blood pressure • Increases Circulation • Increases feelings of well-being through the release of endorphins • Creates a Sense of Community • Improves Coordination and Concentration • Stimulates the Vagus Nerve Signing up for this class means you will commit to being in attendance at each one of the six classes: 6/17, 6/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22.
