Join Roots & Rivers for a hands-on terrarium workshop where participants build their own living ecosystem inside a glass cookie jar using real plants, live moss, and natural materials. As we layer drainage, soil, and greenery, we explore how terrariums function as self-contained ecosystems and how they mimic natural processes like the water cycle. This guided program blends creativity with science, highlighting sustainability, plant care, and environmental awareness. Each participant leaves with a beautiful, low- maintenance terrarium and a stronger understanding of how small ecosystems thrive. Please note that your child must be registered for and participating in the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge. If your child is not registered/participating, we will cancel your registration.
