Literacy New Jersey’s ESL program helps adults improve their English skills to achieve personal, professional, and community goals. Serving learners from diverse backgrounds, the program offers free small-group classes focused on practical, real-world communication. Trained volunteer tutors provide personalized instruction, emphasizing workplace readiness, daily life skills, and community engagement.

Unearth your impact this summer!
At Impact Excavation, teens can drop in each week to work on meaningful service projects that support Trenton residents and pets. With a flexible, come-and-go format, plus music and occasional snacks, it’s an easy way to give back and earn volunteer hours. Your time will directly support the Trenton Rescue Mission and Trenton Cat Rescue. Join us in the Young Adult Lounge as we work together to help the community we love.
This event will take place every Thursday from 3:30 – 6:30 beginning Thursday, July 2, and ending Thursday, August 20.
