The Milton Public Schools, the Milton Public Library, and the Milton Early Childhood Alliance invite you to Summertime Stories: outdoor storytimes at Milton community locations!
Miss Sara, a Milton Public Library Children’s Librarian, will read stories, sing songs, and engage children at four sessions around town this summer. If the weather is nice, bring a blanket because we’ll be outside. Parents/caregivers must remain with and look after their child – these are not drop-off events. Registration is not required, however, you will need to sign in upon arrival.
Held on four Thursdays at 10:00 AM: July 9th and August 6th at Cunningham Park, and July 23rd and August 20th at Tucker School. For families with their children ages birth to six years old.

Once a month, please join MPL Staff for a silent book club: a half hour of socializing and eating lunch together, and a half hour of silent reading time. Register online for SPUB Club! Our Super Popular, Unbelievable Book Club is a read-aloud book club on Zoom for kids in grades 2-6. Miss Sara will read a few chapters of a book each week; your job is to listen, do a hands-on activity of your choice at home (we recommend Play-Doh or drawing), and have fun! Registration is required and limited to 25 computers. Registrants will receive Zoom connection info on the day of the program.

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on workshop designed to demystify generative AI (artificial intelligence) in a low-pressure setting. There is no experience needed for this easy, no-stakes way to explore tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. We will discuss practical everyday uses and spend time actually using these tools to see how they can work for you. Just bring your laptop or tablet to get started. If you don’t have one handy, Chromebooks will be available to borrow during the session.
Marc Johnson is a Milton neighbor and dedicated AI enthusiast. He has found creative ways to integrate AI into work, travel planning, cooking, and everyday tasks. He is always eager to learn more and loves sharing his experience with others.
