Teen Thursdays are weekly drop-in nights just for teens in our makerspace, the CO+LAB! Stop by every Thursday from 5:30-7:30 PM to hang out, play games, use equipment, and try a new featured activity each week. Featured Activity: Did you know that Montana is one of the top 100 international geological history sites? Penny Clifton from the Billings Gem & Mineral Club will use the leopard stones of the Stillwater River to show why Montana is so special. We will also learn about the rock cycle. This program is for ages 12-18. A parent/guardian must fill out a CO+LAB waiver in order to attend this program.

Join Zoe Craft, District Conservationist with NRCS, to get crafty with soil! Did you know that soil comes in all types of colors? MT Soil & Water Conservation Society members have collected different colors of soil from across Montana. These are finely ground so that we can mix them with an acrylic paint base and paint with soil! We will discuss where soil comes from, how it is formed, and you will get to make your own soil painting - using Montana soil!

We're here to cheer you over the finish line with Part Three of our Summer Sockalong workshop where we continue from the heel hurdles we vaulted last week. This one is all about finishing up the foot and tying up the end. Don't worry if you don't finish in this third session as the library offers lots of knitting and crochet support groups throughout the month so we're always around to help you.
