Stop by the library for stories, songs, rhymes, and felt board activities! For ages 2-5 years. Due to the increasing popularity of this program, registration is now requested. Registration opens one week in advance. Please register each child individually.

Sit, stay, read! Join us for an opportunity to read to Journey, one of the therapy dogs from Hudson Valley Paws for a Cause. For many children, reading out loud can be stressful. But reading to a dog can provide them a chance to improve their reading skills with a non-judgmental listener. For children in grades Kindergarten and up. Each child will be allotted fifteen minutes of reading time. Space is limited and registration is required. Only one child may be registered for each available space. Register Here

Join Putnam County Maternal Child Health nurses for a new parents support group! Connect with other parents of children 0 to 3 years and get answers to your parenting questions. Health department nurses include a certified lactation counselor who can answer questions about sleeping, breastfeeding, milestones, and more! For parents and their children ages 0-3 years.
