Join Miss Lauren and Miss Beth for our storytimes on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Though storytime is geared towards ages 2-5, both sessions will feature stories, songs, movement, and rhyme that all early learners can enjoy. Storytimes will focus on stories and songs geared towards children’s literacy and social & emotional learning based around a theme.

To celebrate America's 250th birthday, we're throwing a big and bubbly birthday bash! ROC in the Bubbles will join us with red and blue foam to jump, play, and celebrate! The foam is hypoallergenic, but wear clothes you don't mind getting wet or stained. Open to ages 5-12. Registration required.

Youth will work in teams as engineers to design and build their own insulated coolers using boxes and a variety of everyday materials. After testing their designs with an ice cube and thermometer, participants will measure how well their cooler keeps temperatures low and compare results. This hands-on STEM activity encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking through real-world engineering challenges. Open to ages 5-12. *Registration required.

You will be given a bunch of ingredients, and you can make whatever kind of slime you want. We will then judge which slime is the best! We will provide some recipes, or you can use your own. You will be given a set of categories to try to accomplish. Open to grades 6-12. Please note: tweens under age 13 will need a parent/guardian/caregiver in the library. *Registration required.

Tutors can help you with operating device, the use of desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphones, uploading a document to a USB drive, learn basic computer skills, and connect to a wireless nedwork. Navigate the internet, create and use email, find and apply for jobs, and stay connected with friends and family. Use software, working with Microsoft Office or Google Docs, and creating a resume or cover letter.

The RMSC is back at the library! In this very interactive program, students' imagination will expand as they learn about and "create" a fossil. Students will become "paleontologists" to uncover answers. Open to ages 5-12. *Registration required.
