Applications for both the academic year program and Teen Action Council will be accepted from July 14 to August 23. Teens ages 13-18 are welcome to apply for both opportunities or to choose one.
Academic Year Volunteers:
Applications for the academic year will be accepted from July 14 to August 23. New volunteers are required to fill out both the main application and the teen questionnaire. Returning volunteers are only required to fill out the main application. Applications will be available online and at the Youth Desk. All applications must be turned in to the Youth Desk or emailed to Abigail.Yardley@bedfordtx.gov by August 23. Late applications will not be accepted. Please see the application for more details.

Technology Assistance Tuesdays

Get librarian and peer assistance with your computer or phone. Guests must bring their own devices and have a specific task they wish to learn. Each guest, if time permits, will be allotted a maximum of 15 minutes to focus on their tech question and, in turn, are encouraged to help one another throughout. Due to time constraints, we might not have time for every guest and question. First come, first served. Attendees are also welcome to come to sit-in and just listen and learn from othersโ questions.
Examples of tasks one might ask about:
- Sending an email
- Formatting text in Microsoft Word
- Navigating to apps on your phone's home screen
