Cow Appreciation Day – Meet a Mini Highland Cow

Meet Dakota, a mini highland cow, in the children’s garden. Bring your phone or camera for a photo. 10:30am-12:30pm Raising the Bar ice cream treat truck will be out back between 12:00-1:00pm. You can get a ticket from the circulation desk that day to redeem for an ice cream bar. There will be activity pages and simple crafts that you can do in the Activity Room as well.   All ages.

Chair Yoga

Class will be at Waves of Change Studio  at 1088 Delsea Drive, Franklinville, NJ 08322 Registration Required. Registration is only for the single date for which you register, not for all classes. Registration will be open one week prior to each class to allow maximum opportunity to everyone. Chair Yoga is a gentle and accessible practice that adapts traditional yoga poses using a chair for support, making it ideal for beginners, active older adults, individuals recovering from injury, those with mobility limitations, or anyone seeking a low-impact approach to fitness and wellness. This 60-minute class combines gentle stretching, mindful movement, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques designed to help participants improve flexibility, strength, balance, posture, and overall well-being. Regular practice may help reduce stress, ease joint stiffness, increase mobility, and promote a greater sense of calm and focus. No previous yoga experience is required.
