We will do a variety of activities from water coloring, to drawing with acrylic paint pens...we might even do some origami! We offer a wide variety of activities for everyone in the family to enjoy no matter their skill set. While this is an all-ages event, adults will need to stay close to provide assistance to any children under 5. Every Monday this summer we will briefly learn about an artist or an art movement and create something with their style and/or techniques. Because there will be modifications on the projects suggested for various age/skill levels, all ages are welcome. However, children under 6 should have an adult there to assist them. Upcoming Classes: June 8 - Watercolor like O'Keeffe June 15 - Color like a Pop Artist June 22 - Do a paper sculpture like Charles McGee June 29 - Paint with watercolor with dashes like Alma Thomas July 6 - Make a collage like Gores July 13 - Watercolor like George Seurat July 20 - Make art with polka dots like Yayoi Kusama July 27 - Color a Balloon Dog Painting like Jeff Koons Join us in Triana on Mondays where we do art in the style of a particular artist.

Join us for paint night in Triana from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Library doors open at 5:45 p.m. We will have several options to choose from. Options: Bear, Cat and Dog, Dog and bird, Dog alone, Tree, Two cats, Wolf. Please email me your choice so that I can print out a template for you to trace. If you have another silhouette from home that you want to use, you can choose to send me that. Deadline to choose is July 14. We ask that you please arrive promptly before 6:00 pm . We will need the full 2-hours to complete this painting. This class is designed for beginners and intermediate levels for adults and mature teenagers. Registration opens on June 17th. Join us in Triana for a Choose Your Own Adventure Family Paint Night! Pick your favorite from six painting options, and we’ll provide a canvas with the design already outlined—making it easy to jump right into the fun. This event is designed for ages 10 and up, but younger children are welcome with help from a participating adult. All painters under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This is an after-hours event. Library doors open at 5:45 for a prompt 6pm start time. Registration opens August 11 Each family member will need to register INDIVIDUALLY.
