Each memorial is a work of art and tells a story about service, heroism, and courage. Some are familiar, like the Lincoln and Vietnam Memorials, others newer, like those to remember WWII, Martin Luther King Jr., and Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Spend time with fellow artists while sketching the notable sites of Elmhurst. In July, sketch the "Sistine Touch" sculpture in front of the Elmhurst Art Museum. Graphite, paper, and watercolors provided, or bring your own materials. Beginners welcome. Bring a chair.
