Large Meeting Room

Gather with other postpartum parents and newborns to share experiences, explore the ups and downs of healing, and connect in a supportive, welcoming space. Each month includes a mix of peer support sessions and select weeks featuring guest speakers who share insight on a variety of infant and parenting topics. This group is designed for parents and newborns in the “fourth trimester,” or within the first 12 months postpartum. Those beyond 12 months are welcome to attend as space permits. For birth to preK. Let your little sprout explore! Enjoy a variety of summer-themed sensory play stations where young children can discover new textures, practice early learning skills, and have fun through hands-on play with their caregivers.

Activity Room

For children, grades K-5. Every garden starts with a seed! Join us for a hands-on program inspired by our Plant a Seed, Read! summer theme. We'll decorate a planter, plant a seed to take home, and learn what plants need to grow and thrive. Perfect for little green thumbs and budding gardeners alike! Space and supplies are limited.

Recommended for ages 18 months - 2 years. Join us for stories and songs followed by a simple craft activity on Monday mornings at 10 AM.

Theater

For ages 3-5: Join us for sweet stories, soft ears, and a whole lot of heart at a magical story time with Good Pickin’ Farm! They will be visiting with their friendly bunnies which are the perfect reading companions due to their quiet and calming nature! Books with Bunnies features low-shedding, semi-hypoallergenic mini-rex rabbits. Registration is required.

For children, grades K-5. Join us for Flavor Quest as we explore a new spice or herb each month through tasting simple recipes and hands-on fun! This month, we're discovering basil, a fragrant herb used in cuisines around the world. Sample basil-inspired treats, make your own refreshing basil lemonade, and take home a recipe to try with your family. Supplies are limited.

All are welcome to attend the Friends of the Nashua Public Library meetings, usually held on the second Monday of the month.

From obstacle courses and balance challenges to process art, music exploration, and simple yoga activities, there's something for every little mover to enjoy. Children can participate at their own pace while building confidence and having fun.

Join us on the third Wednesday of each month for a morning of American Mah Jongg. All levels are welcome, but please note this is not a class. National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules will be followed. If you have an NMJL card, please bring it with you.

Putting a fresh spin on traditional Celtic music, the Jordan TW Trio delivers a dynamic show full of lively fiddle tunes, haunting airs, and classic sing-alongs. Join us as fiddler/singer Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki, guitarist Matthew Jensen, and bassist Chris Noyes blend the music of Ireland and Scotland with their own original material, drawing on multiple genres to produce a unique sound described as “brisk, lean and exceedingly lovely” by the Boston Irish Reporter.
