From fossils to bugs to clay or stamps, each crafting session has a theme or a special material for participants to use. No registration. Outdoor Play is a great time for both children and caregivers to interact. Children learn about sharing while engaging with other children and caregivers make connections with other adults. Our outdoor playtime includes a variety of activities from sensory toys to water play which help young children learn about the world and explore. Sensory play is any activity that involves engaging the senses. Generally speaking, the more senses you can include, the better. If weather is bad (or TOO hot) the playtime will be held in the Children's Room of the library.

Story lovers of all ages are invited to hear stories about people and traditions from around the world and through history. Each week we will learn about someone or someplace new through stories and activities designed for families to do together.

Join her for an hour or two to work on your own projects or explore a new art form. Miss Tish will help you with your own project to the best of her ability. You will also find an interesting mix of fiber art books to look at for inspiration or borrowing. The library has knitting needles, crochet hooks, and other supplies you can use during the hour and borrow to complete projects. If you borrowed crochet hooks or knitting needles in the past, please remember to bring them back to the library either to one of the meetings or just leave them with the circulation or reference desk. Thank you! We love to share them, but if they never come back we will run out! Teens and adults are welcome.

He traveled with Disney Cruise lines as a performer and worked as a cabaret singer in New York before discovering his love of teaching and performing for families. Mr. Corbitt will share books of contemporary songs from the realms of jazz, reggae, pop, rock, and R&B. Along with these musical stories, Mr. Corbitt shares children's songs and rhymes. A different medium or process will be explored during each session.
