This story time session is for children who have outgrown Itsy Bitsy but are not yet ready for the 3 & up class. We will take elements from both Itsy Bitsy and our 3 & up class to create a special transitional class just for twos! Join us for stories, songs, flannels & fun. For children 22 months - 2 years old. Open to Wayne residents only. Registration begins Monday, June 8th at 7:00 AM. The ENPOWR Project is a national program that provides accessible education about menstrual health and endometriosis, a condition that affects about 1 in 10 people who menstruate. Awareness can really help people better understand their bodies and seek medical support if needed. Our presentation is interactive and typically about 45 minutes long. It includes: Information about menstrual health and endometriosis Discussion about common symptoms and myths Educational resources Open to Wayne young adults entering 5th grade & up and adults.

Free Play Fridays is a special, unstructured play time for infants and toddlers. Meet up to play in the Story Time Room, with toys and books provided by the library. Drop in anytime between 9:30-11:45 on Fridays. Your little one will get to know other little ones! For babies and toddlers through 3 years old with an adult. No sign up is necessary.

Curious about Mahjong but don’t know where to start? Stop by the Wayne Public Library for Beginning Mahjong, a four-session learning cohort designed for first-time players! Led by a library staff member, this small-group series will introduce the basics of the classic tile game. This program is intended for absolute beginners—experienced players may not find this class engaging. Space is limited, so register to reserve your spot today! The Monday Zoom Knitting group members work on their individual projects, also have knit-a-longs, and on occasion book talks,while chatting with each other about various topics. Staff members will be available to answer any questions you may have and to make you more comfortable when using your device. Whether you have one question or several questions we can help.

Zoom in for a casual & virtual gathering, while picking up common vocabulary & phrases in Spanish! We'll focus on pronunciation & practicality. During the class screen is shared, and as phrases come up are typed out. Afterwards Eleana emails what was written for your review.
