Join Sifu Alex Lamas courtesy of the Greenburgh Evergreen Club to learn Tai Chi in this summer series! The primary focus of Tai Chi is to combine mind, body and spirit to work as one. All are welcome. This class will be held on Thursdays, July 9 through September 17, 2026, broken down into three monthly class series. To allow as many people as possible to attend, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED EACH MONTH for that month's class series.

Join us for a sizzling summer of Latin Mixed Dance with Instructor, Ike Leong, courtesy of the Greenburgh Evergreen Club. Learn Latin line dancing and ladies styling-- sway to the exciting rhythms of chacha, rumba, bachata, lambada, salsa, waltz, and some of Leong's own choreography! Come to have fun and share a love for dance! This class takes place at the Library on Thursdays, July 9 through September 17, 2026, broken down into three monthly class series. The Greenburgh Public Library is pleased to welcome Congressman George Latimer for a community Office Hours session in our Multipurpose Room. This is a unique opportunity for residents to meet one-on-one with their congressional representative, ask questions, share concerns, and discuss issues that matter to them and their community. Whether you need assistance with a federal agency, would like to learn more about current issues, or simply want to make your voice heard, Congressman Latimer and his staff invite you to stop by and join the conversation. The Office of Congressman George Latimer provides assistance to constituents experiencing difficulties with federal agencies, including USCIS, Social Security, Medicare, Veterans Affairs, the IRS, USPS, and other federal entities. Our Mobile Office Hours offer residents an opportunity to meet directly with congressional staff, learn about available federal resources, and receive assistance with federal casework and services. All are welcome. We encourage community members to take advantage of this opportunity for civic engagement and open dialogue.

Almost every American joins with family and friends for picnics, parades, fireworks, and fun. How did these traditions begin? “Happy 250th America” explores how the celebrations evolved, from the very first celebration in 1776 to the anticipated events for the Semiquincentennial (Quarter Millennium) in 2026.

This program will provide basic information about Medicare for those individuals who: are turning 65 are losing group/employer health coverage and who need to enroll in Medicare for the first time are receiving Extra Help (Part D) or would like to learn about Extra Help (Part D) and the Medicare Savings Program (Part B). want to learn about the different ways to apply for Medicare benefits. Come and play Canasta at the Greenburgh Public Library! Bring your friends or come alone and make some new ones. Bring your set or use ours! Canasta Friday takes place every other Friday in the Multipurpose Room. This program is for patrons who already know how to play canasta; there will be no instructor. All levels are welcome, but basic Canasta skills are needed to play!

Celebration of Color brings together the vibrant works of Jeannie Yun and Paul Greco. Drawing inspiration from diverse cultures, nature, history, and imagination, both artists use color as a powerful form of expression. Through distinct styles and perspectives, their work invites viewers to experience beauty, wonder, and the many ways art connects us to the world around us. Join is in the Library’s Howard & Ruth Jacobs Family Gallery to meet the artists and enjoy the exhibit.

Calling all teens! Have YOUR voice heard. We want to know what YOU want in YOUR library! Help plan events, pick out teen collections (books, magazines, video games & more), promote & encourage teen library use — all while earning one hour of volunteer hours. For middle and high school age.

In the history of Western music Antonio Vivaldi nearly disappeared after his death. With the exception of the Four Seasons, his work was ignored. Then in the 20th Century, research revealed that Johann Sebastian Bach had studied Vivaldi's concerti and had been strongly influenced by them, transcribing over a dozen for keyboard performance and integrating the techniques he admired into his own compositions.

The Navigator program provides assistance for individuals, families, small businesses and their employees up to age 64. No appointment is required. Come and play Mah Jongg at the Greenburgh Public Library! Bring your friends or come alone and make some new ones. Bring your set or use ours for Chinese and/or American Mah Jongg. Mahjongg Open Play takes place on designated Mondays in the Multipurpose room. All levels are welcome, but basic Mah Jongg skills are needed to play!

The Page Turners is a fun and engaging club opportunity for people throughout middle school and high school to nurture their love for creative writing through engaging activities and skill honing. We will be learning how to write in styles like poetry, fiction, and scriptwriting, along with many others! This program is very beginner-friendly and welcomes people of all skill levels! Registration is required.

Master Zhao is visiting the United States from China and will demonstrate his renowned Chinese brush painting techniques with watercolors.
