Kid's Activity Room

A relaxed, beginner-friendly art club for kids 7-10 that allows them to understand core skills and build confidence in both drawing and painting, as well as other creative techniques. This club focuses on bringing out creativity for any kids interested in art. All are welcome to sign up!

This is a DROP IN program. A family style story time for kids 8 and under with a parent or caregiver. We start with stories and songs and finish with a fun take and make craft!

A monthly gathering for fiber enthusiats. Discussing knitting, sweing, spinning, weaving and other related crafts. Sharing of works-in-progress followed by general conversations.

Witness a tale spun of blood and sleepless guilt, where every phantom dagger points the way to ruin. By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes—and it is a gathering of souls. Step into the fog and join our coven for a night where fair is foul and foul is fair. Bring forth yon lawn chair, perhaps a picnic lunch. The exact hour and day of this fateful meeting: July 11, 12, 18, 19 at 1:00 pm. You have not one, not two, but four chances to view until the bell doth toll. The location of the stronghold or castle where it shall take place: Salesian Park in Goshen, behind the Goshen Public Library, under a strong tent of canvas. Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art that involves a series of slow and gentle, flowing movements, using all the major muscle groups and joints, combined with deep breathing and an internal mental focus. It is a light form of exercise that improves strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. It can also help reduce stress and anxiety and alleviate various physical conditions, and has been shown to be a wonderful tool for the improvement of balance, thus helping to prevent falls. The class teaches a simple form of Yang-style Tai Chi after a warm-up that involves the activation of vital energy and engages with different types of Qigong.

Where did the Universe come from? Is there life out there? It time travel possible? What is our long term outlook? How uniquely suited for life is this improbably universe? What is our place in the universe? "Our Universe" is a fascinating look at the origins and workings of this place we call home. Presented in a non-techincal approach, it is intended to be a storybook of the cosmos." John Johansen is a systems engineer for the past 30 year. He has taught control theory at a number of colleges as a professor at Stevens Institute, NJIT, and Columbia. He currently reaches history courses in local schools and conducts tours for the Warwick Historical Society.
