Celebrate America's 250th birthday with this patriotic concert with Honky Tonk Jones, a band duo whose blend of country music, traditional folk and rural country music will have you rocking in your seats and smiling as our country turns 250 years old! Join Robert Rogers for a delightful puppet show featuring an original story that inspires discovery, patience, and imagination! A long, long, long time ago, a dinosaur's egg lay in a dinosaur's nest. One day, when the wind became very strong and the air became very cold, a strong storm blew the egg under some rocks and covered it with snow. When the snow turned to ice, everything froze. Years later, when the ice melted, the egg was found by a little girl named Daisy, as she picked wildflowers on her family's farm. Not knowing what it was, she brought the egg home and placed it in the hen house, hoping a chicken would tend to it. Ages: 3-12. This event is a part of the Bridgeport Public Library's 2026 Summer Reading Series of Programs.
