This is a FREE program for teens in grades 6-12.
Teen Cuisine helps teens become self-sufficient in the kitchen while teaching them healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Each lesson will have nutrition, food safety, food preparation and physical activity.
Every week have fun while learning how to:
Read food labels to choose healthier foods and snacks
Identify proper portion size
Use My Plate to plan meals and snacks
Use safe food handling practices
Use cooking an measuring techniques to prepare recipes
Classes take place from 2-3pm this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please register in advance. Space limited!

Join us for Dinos, Dinos, Dinos, an exciting hands-on program led by the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science! Perfect for children in grades K–5, this interactive experience explores the fascinating world of dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes.
Kids will have the chance to examine real fossils, learn how they are formed, and discover the tools paleontologists use to uncover the past. Depending on the session, participants may enjoy a dinosaur-themed story, explore a paleontologist’s backpack, compare the sizes of prehistoric creatures, and even create their own fossil to take home.

Senior Medicare Patrol

Drop-in and vist with the Senior Medicare Patrol team. Their mission is to empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling, and education.
The Delaware Senior Medicare Patrol Program provides public information to encourage Medicare beneficiaries to carefully read their Medicare summary notices and ask questions if they do not think the information is correct. This program also trains volunteers to help Medicare beneficiaries get the information they need when they suspect fraud, errors, or abuse of the Medicare program.
