This month guest speaker Brad from the University of Idaho will come in and talk about how bugs are important for plants! Bugs are crucial for plant health, acting as essential pollinators (bees), natural pest control (ladybugs) and soil decomposers (ants).
This fun program is part of the Junior Master Gardener curriculum which aims to engage children through garden and ecology-themed children's books and helps inspire learning through garden activities, creative expression and exploration.
For ages 6 and up. Younger children are welcome as long as they have their caregiver to assist them with activities. Presented by University of Idaho Extension's Canyon County Jr. Master Gardener volunteers.
