Are you ready to play, sing, dance, jump and pretend to be in Mexico? The Spanish Fun Program will be here to play games with balloons, flashcards, toys, and songs to learn some Spanish words. Pretend to be in “el mercado”, the grocery store, and buy fruits and vegetables. Jump and dance while following directions in Spanish. This program is ideal for babies to toddlers. All across the country, children and their teddies will be getting together in July for snacks, stories, and activities, and we at the Wellesley Free Library are no exception! Join us for this forty-five minute program. We’ll listen to books about bears, sing a song or two, share a tasty treat, and make beary crafty creations. Bring your teddy & a blanket to join in on the fun! We will be eating our snack outdoors, weather permitting. This program is for toddlers, preschoolers, and parents/caregivers. If you want to learn where English words come from (and a new alphabet!), join us for a ten-week class with Riya a National Latin Exam Gold Medal winner and Senior at Nobles. We will meet every Tuesday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Zoom to learn about English words originating from Latin, the Greek alphabet, common Latin phrases, and ancient Rome.
