Enjoy stories and songs with our Children's librarians and special guests! Each week we have a different visitor joining us at storytime AT Notte Park. This program will meet at the stage at Camp Meehan up the hill by the big playground at Notte Park, Thursdays @ 10am. Below is the list of guests that will be visiting: July 9: RISPCA and rescue animals July 16: Visit with Belle July 23: Police car and Police Officers July 30: Audubon Society and animal visit Aug 6: Firetruck and Fire Fighters In case of inclement weather, we may have to cancel or reschedule. Announcements will be made by 9am on storytime day and will be emailed to all registrants and posted on the children's department Facebook page.

Looking for something to do this summer? Need volunteer hours for school or other? We need volunteers! During this time you will help with tasks like reader’s advisory, craft prep, shelf reading, etc. Volunteers need to be at least 14 years old. Registration is not required, but is appreciated! Please come to the Children's Desk to fill out a form and then you will add your time each time you volunteer to our volunteer book so that we can give you credit for your hours when you need them.

RI state Archives will lead this presentation that explores the revolutionary story of our state and nation, from the Act of Renunciation to the ratification of the US Constitution. Presentation and display provided by Rode Island Department of State, State Archives. Welcome All! In this program families will be encouraged to pick a media that "Planted the Seed of Reading" in their lives and create a physical or digital document of it. For example; a diorama, collage, or animation. Staff will facilitate and assist. Materials will be provided (including an IPAD for digital projects)
