Experience the rich tapestry of Chinese culture with dancers from the Greater Washington Chinese Dance. They will be presenting a variety of dance styles that reflect the diversity of China. As part of the performance, the dancers will share insights into the cultural significance and historical origins of each dance.
About the Performers
Founded in 2022, Greater Washington Chinese Dance functions as the non-profit extension of the Xuejuan Dance Ensemble. Since its inception in 2009, the Xuejuan Dance Ensemble has welcomed and nurtured dancers of various ages and backgrounds. The establishment of this Company has enhanced the Ensemble's mission to promote cross-cultural appreciation, understanding, and connections through the art of Chinese dance.

Calling all LEGO lovers! Join other kids who love building as much as you. The library provides the LEGO bricks - you provide the imagination! All materials must stay at the library, so bring a camera to capture your creations. Please leave your LEGO bricks at home. We don't want you to lose your favorite pieces.
Ages 4-18. Caregivers are required to stay with children 7 and younger. Children between 8-11 must have a caregiver in the library.
