Join us each week as we build and program LEGO SPIKE Prime robots to compete in an archeology themed challenge with our community partner, Cobra Robotics! Additionally, attendees will learn about current issues in archeology and create an innovative solution to address a selected challenge. This weekly program is cumulative and attendees will be placed into teams of 2-3, so please plan on attending each week! Important: - This program is strictly for youth ages 9 to 14. Younger children are invited to attend our other robotics programs in MACH2! - Online registration is required. Attendees enroll in the entire 8 week series by enrolling online for the June 2nd event. Is your favorite stuffed animal ready to have an adventure? Do you and your stuffy love stories? Join us for a Saturday Stuffy Sleepover at Cholla Library. Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library for a slumber party just for them. You will make crafts, read stories, make some new friends, prepare a bed for your stuffed animal, and tuck them into bed before you return home. Your stuffed animal will spend the night at the library and tell you all about their party when you return to pick up your stuffed animal on Sunday. Who’s it for? Babies up to two years old and their favorite grownups What will you do? Play, sing, and read with your baby in a warm and nurturing program. What will you and your baby learn? Growing brains need to hear lots of language! Your baby will learn to recognize the small sounds and patterns in language and add new words. Babies and their favorite adults will also build social skills as they learn and play with other families with young children.  This program will be conducted in English and Spanish. Gather your family and friends this summer and dig up some delightful dinosaur tales at Cholla Library. Join us in the Storytime Room for a dinosaur-themed movie and a family friendly craft project. Dress comfortably (pajamas encouraged) and bring your blanket, pillow, and favorite stuffie to unearth a film favorite and some family fun.
