Our first VR experience features the story “Freedom in Expression,” which takes you on a journey connecting the history of public art and the Mexican Mural Movement to artists in modern-day Chicago and female mariachis in Tucson. Our second VR experience, “Weaving Our Story,” follows the themes of weaving, storytelling, and public art featuring Indigenous Arizona artists.
Space is limited to the first 45 participants. Program sponsored by Maricopa County Library District as part of Maricopa County Reads, the summer reading program at the library.
