The Friends of the Library accept donations of gently used books each month for inclusion in their semiannual used book sales. All proceeds benefit library programs and services. We will be making cards for lonely elderly folks or coloring for the library display. All supplies will be provided; bring your creativity! Registration is requested, but walk-ins are welcome.

Robin Johnson from Garden Arts for Kids will lead us in an art class where we will make pre-historic cave pictures. Learn what happened on a typical pre-historic day. Were there dinosaur battles? Were there large animals grazing in the meadows? You will create cave wall textured paper and then illustrate your pre-historic scene with special picture tools. Get hooked on crochet with Marion at Teen Club: Loops & Laughs! This group will meet on Friday, July 10 and 24 at 3:30pm to work on our crochet or friendship-bracelet-making skills while chatting with fellow crafty teens. First-time members will start with a scrunchy, and returning members will work on a bandana or a different project they've selected. All experience levels are welcome; no prior knowledge is required! Materials will be provided; all you need to bring is your creativity! Geared toward ages 11-18. Registration is required. **Registration priority is given to Rutherford residents for all programs that require registration.**

This program is focused on speaking and listening exercises related to real life situations, which will help students to become more confident and develop practical answers with examples, reasons, and supporting opinions.
