Put your engineering skills to the test in this exciting hands-on STEM challenge! Participants will design and build their own raft or sailboat using a variety of materials. Once completed, each boat will be tested in the pool to see if it floats and successfully travels across the water. Then, the real challenge begins—weights will be added to determine how much each design can carry while still staying afloat and making it to the other side. Experiment, problem-solve, and discover what makes a boat strong, stable, and seaworthy!

Mr. Corbitt's Musical Storytime is an interactive and engaging storytime concert for young children and their grown-ups. In this program, Mr. Corbitt sings and reads classic pop songs in picture book form, including “Let’s Dance” by David Bowie, “Octopus’ Garden” by The Beatles, and “One Love” by Bob Marley, among many others. In between these musical storybooks, he leads the little ones through energetic renditions of nursery rhymes and children’s tunes, all with a pair of maracas for each child. They'll be singing, dancing, and shaking the whole time!
