Friends of the Library Book Sale - Giddens

On the second Thursday of every month the Friends of the Fairhope Library host a Book Sale in the library lobby and Giddens Conference Center.  The sale features Fiction, Nonfiction, Children’s Books, DVDs, artwork, puzzles, and much more!  Come buy some affordable items for yourself or the perfect gift for someone else.  All proceeds will benefit the library!

Baby Storytime - Activity Room

Ages 0-18 months This storytime is for our lap-sitters and crawlers. The program lasts approximately 30 minutes, with about 10-15 minutes dedicated to reading and rhyme, and 20  minutes dedicated to tummy time/floor play or socialization for parents and babies!

Ages: 4-12: Do you love LEGOs? So do we! Kids ages 4-12 can come in every Wednesday for collaborative play and building. Create your own castle, spaceship, or even a LEGO Brickfilm with your friends. Parents MUST stay with children 6 and younger.

All ages. Our Activity Room will be open and stocked with Lincoln logs, blocks, LEGOs, and more. This is unstructured free play and exploration. Parents are required to directly supervise their children and help clean up. Stop by and see what you can build!
