Participation by District residents at Hudson Library Board meetings is welcome. Proper decorum and adherence to meeting rules is required at times during library meetings. All District residents wishing to speak to the Board must first be recognized by the President of the Board and will then be allowed a period of up to five minutes and may make comments during the designated period or during discussion of specific agenda items. Comments should be restricted to the issue.

Readers of all ages are invited to our community-wide “In Full Bloom! Progress Party” from 5:00-7:00 pm on July 23! We’re planning an evening of fun, featuring bounce houses, sno-cones, bubbles, and fresh flavors from the Mexa-Maya food truck (cash and card accepted). This is a perfect opportunity to grab dinner, enjoy the summer air, and celebrate how much our reading garden has grown! The library will close at 3:00 pm for party preparations. Access to the library’s restrooms through the lobby will be available throughout the event. Lettuce celebrate our progress as a community! Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied and directly supervised by a parent or other responsible caregiver (age 14 or older).

Book Chat has been moved to the fifth Thursday of July, the 30th, to make room for the “In Full Bloom!” Party. A book club for book lovers with no assigned reading! This group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month to share. Come and find great reads, fascinating authors, and new friends.
