If you love suspense and love a good twist this is the book group for you!  This group meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 2PM. They enjoy psychological thrillers and domestic suspense.  Enjoy an afternoon with other readers sharing the chosen book of the month.

Children ages 1st thru 5th grade can sign up to read to Fox Valley Therapy dogs in 15 minute increments. Meets the 4th Thursday, 4 – 5 pm.

Adults can sign up to paint a picture on canvas with an artist from the Petite Palette.  $15.00 fee is due at registration to secure your spot!

Presented by Jamie Poorman.  In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, thousands of children embarked on a journey from the crowded streets of New York City to new lives in rural communities across the nation.  We will explore the beginnings of this movement, the organizations involved, and the journeys taken by the children.  We will then examine Illinois’ unique relationship with this movement.
